Silicone Surfactant

L-626 is a specialty silicone designed specifically viscoelastic foam and low permeability
slab formulations. Its unique cell opening characteristics helps improve processing latitude in tight foam formulations.

¡Ý L-626 provides a fine and open cell structure, with good processing latitude.
¡Ý Generally, L-626 is used in conjunction with other surfactants(SC-154/SC-155/L-620).
¡Ý L-626 can also be used in semi-rigid slab foams for automotive headliner systems
to help prevent shrinkage.

Properties Specification
Form Slightly Hazy Liquid
Viscosity(25¡É, cSt) 14,000
Specific gravity(25¡É) 0.92

L-626 can either be premixed with other surfactants or diluted in a polyol

¢ºApplications
L-626 has found use in the manufacture of high density viscoelastic foams like those
used in high-performance bedding. This unique surfactant is of greatest utility when foam
having density ¡Ã3.0 pcf is desired.
