Silicone Surfactant

L-3100 and L-3200 are two new silicones developed specifically for TDI HR molded
Systems in which the right combination of shear stability, cell structure and foam openness is difficult to achieve. Silicone L-3100 is designed to provide open foam with good bulk stability, whereas silicone L-3200 provides good cell structure and shear stability.
By blending silicones L-3100 and L-3200, OSi Specialties can customer-design a silicone to precisely meet a broad range of customer needs for the right balance of cell-opening, bulk stability and shear stability.
L-3150 is one such blend. Other combinations yield blends that will show properties that tend to be closer to those of the major component.
